Counselors / Teachers
Dear Counselors and Teachers
Cal Poly is pleased to present the 13th annual EPIC — Engineering Possibilities in College — an enriching and fun summer camp for students currently in grades 6-11th. Due to COVID-19 EPIC will be a completely virtual camp this year.
Students currently in grades 6-11 are eligible to apply for the EPIC 2020 summer camp. Camp dates are:
July 6-10: Session 1 — Middle School Program Option (grades 6-8)
July 13-17: Session 2 — High School Program (grades 9-11)
July 20-24: Session 3 — High School Program (grades 9-11)
July 25-31: Session 4 — High School Program (grades 9-11)
We need YOUR help in promoting this important outreach program!
EPIC strives to interest ALL students in engineering, but especially those who are female, first-generation-college-bound, and/or under-represented multicultural students. Ideal candidates have good grades and abilities in math and science, with little or no exposure to engineering. Encouragement from you may spark their interest in EPIC summer camp and ultimately inspire their choosing engineering as a career path.
Please consider reading the announcement at the link below to your students and showing the four minute video https://youtu.be/Cn40VYLWitg
