Who can apply
Students currently in grades 6-11th are eligible to apply for the EPIC 2020 summer camp. Students who will graduate High School in June are not eligible to attend EPIC.
Requirements: Students should have access to a computer and reliable internet access along with a non-school district issued email.

EPIC 2020 Details
All sessions are virtual ONLY and will be covering the same focus.
Session 1: Grades 6-8 Middle School July 6th-10th
Session 2: Grades 9-11 High School July 13th-17th
Session 3: Grades 9-11 High School July 20th-24th
Session 4: Grades 9-11 High School July 27th-31st
Highlights and Daily Schedule
9:00am-11:00am: Live two hour Monday-Friday Virtual Engineering class
11am-11:30am: Daily live virtual office hours to help with engineering project
11:30am-12:30pm: Live virtual Social Events: Scavenger hunt, talent show, and more
1:00pm-2:00pm: Live Engineering Fields exploration presentations/Cal Poly student panels
2:00pm-3:00pm: Live speakers: Cal Poly Admissions, Industry Speaker, College Life
Optional Virtual Tours: Cal Poly, College of Engineering, and Housing
Arduino Rube-Goldberg Machine
Students will go through a variety of hands-on projects to learn about the world of computers, software, and electronics. They will learn about micro controllers, writing software, read sensors and control hardware, and construct a mechanical apparatus. Engineering fields covered within the lab include Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and General Engineering
